Letter From a Friend

I am writing to say how much I care of you. I want you to know me better. 
When you awoke this morning, I exploded a brilliant sunrise through your window,
hoping to get your attention. But you didn't even notice.


Later, you were walking with friends, I bathed you in warm sunshines and perfumed
the air with flowers. Still, you didn't notice me. So I shouted to you in a thunderstorm, and painted a beautiful
rainbow. You didn't even look!


Tonight, I spilled moonlight on your face and sent a cool breeze to refresh you. as you slept, I watched over you and shared your thoughts, but you were unaware of my presence.
I hope you will talk to me soon. When you're ready, I will be near. I love you very much.

Luke 2:15-16 – Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened

When the angels had left them and gone into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let’s go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about.” So they hurried off and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby, who was lying in the manger. 

Luke 2:8-14 – Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger.” Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests.” 

Psalm 14:2-3 – There is no one who does good, not even one

The LORD looks down from heaven on the sons of men to see if there are any who understand, any who seek God. All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one. 

Luke 12:15 – Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed

Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; a man’s life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions.” – Luke 12:15

Isaiah 9:6 – he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. – Isaiah 9:6

Luke 1:76-77

And you, my child, will be called a prophet of the Most High; for you will go on before the Lord to prepare the way for him, to give his people the knowledge of salvation through the forgiveness of their sins, 

Luke 1:67-69

His father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and prophesied: “Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has come and has redeemed his people. He has raised up a horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David”
